In August, the Succow Foundation produced 3000 small bales of wet meadow hay on the Binsenberg hillside spring moor, which it restored. Thanks to the rewetting, the hay was in good condition despite the dry summer. Harvested in a soil-friendly manner and pressed into small bales it was in great demand from private and smaller farmers. This year's harvest was brought in by 20 volunteers and transported to the farm Schwarze Schafe, where about 100 sheep are living off the hay in winter.
